Brett Winter Chief Executive Officer

Brett commenced his maritime logistics career working for Toyota Australia in their export program, before moving into a number of supply chain management roles. Joining Patrick in 2007, Brett has held leadership roles in Business Development, Transport, Stevedoring and Port Facilities Management. As GeelongPort CEO, Brett is responsible for the management of key port assets, operational service delivery and driving the Port’s growth strategy.

David Howley Chief Financial Officer

David has a diverse background with a Big 4 Accounting Firm and a range of senior finance roles across industries including logistics, industrial manufacturing, agricultural commodities, food manufacturing and wholesale fuel distribution. David holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce and is a registered Certified Practicing Accountant with extensive experience as a CFO, having been the Group CFO and Company Secretary for a large agricultural and transport logistics business for the past seven years. Working with stakeholders such as National Australia Bank, Viva Energy Australia, Telstra and CRH plc, David brings strong commercial acumen and has a deep understanding of supply chain businesses and commodity trades.

Stephanie Pickett General Counsel and Company Secretary

Stephanie leads GeelongPort’s Legal, Governance, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability functions. Prior to joining GeelongPort, Stephanie spent over a decade working as a lawyer for the National Australia Bank Group in various roles in Australia, New Zealand and the UK with a commercial, litigation and regulatory focus. Stephanie has also worked in top tier and specialist law firms in Australia and New Zealand and in local and central government roles in the United Kingdom. Stephanie is admitted to practice in Australia and New Zealand and has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Victoria University of Wellington. In 2023, Stephanie won the General Counsel of the Year Award at the national Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards for 2023.

Christopher Anderson Head of Service Delivery

Christopher commenced his career as a graduate engineer with the Ford Motor Company, initially in Geelong and later Broadmeadows. During this time Christopher held several technical roles prior to moving into supervisory and leadership positions in both plant maintenance and production environments. In 2010 he transitioned to the transport and logistics sector where he led several large, multidisciplinary service teams within Patrick. Christopher joined GeelongPort in 2017 and as GeelongPort’s Head of Service Delivery leads the port’s customer facing operations and maintenance teams to provide a customer oriented, flexible service.

Samantha English General Manager - Organisational Development

Samantha has over 20 years' experience in the human resource management arena, beginning with Honda Australia. Samantha's deep knowledge of corporate and manufacturing environments stems from her senior roles with Sensis and Energy Australia, where Samantha set up a customer contact centre in Geelong. Samantha joined LINX Cargo Care Group in 2015 as Human Resources Manager, incorporating responsibilities for GeelongPort and in June 2020 took on the role of GM - Organisational Development. Samantha’s strengths include organisational development, change management, performance and conduct management, workplace relations and talent management.

Elias Anastasiou General Manager - Commercial

Elias has over 25 years’ experience in global corporate real estate/asset management, procurement and complex commercial negotiation working with companies such as Pfizer, Barclays Capital and Statoil. More recently Elias managed the national Patrick Port Assets and progressed his career into a Head of Property and Procurement role at Linx Cargo Care Group where he was responsible for both property and strategic procurement teams. Elias holds a Bachelor of Business Property (Valuations) and Post Graduate Degree in Strategic Procurement. Elias joined GeelongPort in 2021 and is responsible for property, trade and new market growth opportunities across the port.

Sinèad Redmond Head of Infrastructure Delivery

Sinèad is an accomplished leader, a qualified civil engineer and project manager. She has extensive experience in project delivery across a range of areas, having worked for WSP, the Northern Territory Government and, more recently, HK Solutions based in Geelong. Sinead has proven experience as an influential leader who works within business development, directing large teams and managing stakeholder expectations. As GeelongPort’s Head of Infrastructure Delivery, Sinèad oversees all engineering, asset management and project management functions.

Adam Le Guern Head of HSEQ

Adam has an extensive background in the heavy manufacturing, construction and forestry industries, as well as in the Australian Defence Force.
Prior to joining GeelongPort in 2023, Adam was the Health Safety and Environmental Manager at Carbon Revolution. He has significant experience in the management of safety systems; assessment, mitigation and elimination of risk; and a strong interest in coaching both direct and indirect team members.
