GeelongPort in top 101 workplaces for women

Exciting news! GeelongPort is on the list of WORK180’s top 101 Australian workplaces for women.

This recognition is a testament to the policies, initiatives and programs that have been introduced at GeelongPort to support women working in the maritime sector, once a heavily male employed industry.

One of GeelongPort’s recent policies, which contributed to the port earning the Top 101 Workplace for Women acclaim was the introduction of our Wellness Policy.

Health and wellbeing are our top priorities and to expand and support a diverse workplace, a new Wellness Policy was introduced giving employees up to five paid days of wellness leave. This leave is in addition to personal and annual leave.

Another important enhancement was increasing our paid parental leave from 12 to 16 weeks and ensuring the leave is gender neutral so that either parent can access it.
