Community Liaison Group

GeelongPort has a Community Liaison Group in place to enhance its relationship with our neighbours and the general community.

This accords with GeelongPort’s philosophy of developing positive partnerships with the community to ensure the continued viability of the port and its economic, social, and environmental importance to the city and the region.

The GeelongPort Community Liaison Group provides a forum for regular face-to-face communication and engagement between GeelongPort and the broader community to explore various initiatives, projects and developments.

The membership of the group consists of representatives of Greater Geelong including community groups and organisations that have a strong interest in the Port and the growth projects being delivered by GeelongPort.

The group is made up of up to 15 community representatives from the Greater Geelong region.

The GeelongPort Community Liaison Group meets four times a year.

The 2023/2024 committee meetings are underway.
