Our Sustainability Strategy 2026–2030 outlines a clear pathway to strengthen environmental performance, support resilient operations, and deliver positive outcomes for our people, customers, and community.

This Strategy reflects our commitment to responsible port operations, aligned with leading frameworks and evolving regulatory expectations. It sets out our priorities across climate action, environmental stewardship, social value, and governance, supported by defined targets and measurable outcomes.

As a critical infrastructure asset for Victoria, we recognise our role in enabling sustainable trade and contributing to the decarbonisation of supply chains. Our approach is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement ensuring we respond to emerging risks and opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.

Stakeholder Engagement

Engagement with our stakeholders has been central to the development of this Strategy. We undertook a comprehensive consultation process to ensure our priorities reflect the perspectives, expectations, and expertise of those we work with and serve.

Stakeholder engagement over this period attracted meaningful and diverse participation, including:
  • 41 participants across the process
  • 11 facilitated workshops,
  • 12 targeted discussions with key community leaders and organisations Internal and external surveys capturing broader input

This approach enabled us to capture both strategic insights and operational perspectives, ensuring our strategy is practical, relevant, and future-focused.

The insights gathered through this process have directly shaped our strategic priorities, targets, and implementation approach.
